If you want to know what resources are available in your area, 2-1-1 Texas is a great way to find out information. It is a free confidential, information and referral line answered by nationally certified specialists - 24 hours a day,
seven days a week. When callers dial 2-1-1, they are connected to area information centers in the region . These trained experts have access to the most comprehensive database of community-based organizations, government agencies, and nonprofits that exist in Texas. Information can be provided in almost any language. 2-1-1 Texas is also a way to apply for benefits, check the current status of your applications, or to reapply for benefits. This includes: Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamps, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF),
and Children’s Health Insurance.

If you or someone else you know if having a tough time or want to know more about a certain topic, Reach Out has inspiring videos and stories with real people who have dealt with similar issues. There are also some cool pages with coping skills, resources for help, and facts.

If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse in a relationship, you can text “loveis” to 77054 or call 1-866-331-9474 anytime of the day to talk to trained peers. These peers can help you to talk to your friends, learn more about reporting the abuse, and more. Their website also offers videos and information about how to recognize when abuse is happening and how to stop it from happening.
